Space is an Egyptian property discovery platform competing in one of the most crowded digital categories in the MENA region. The paid media costs were rising. The organic presence was non-existent. Bloom built a content and SEO strategy that made Space the most useful property resource in Egypt — and let organic traffic do what paid media could not afford to do alone.
The situation we walked into.
The Egyptian property market is enormous — millions of transactions, hundreds of developments, and a buying audience that does everything online before they make a single phone call. The category is dominated by aggregators that compete on listing volume and paid media spend.
Space's competitive advantage was not listings — it was intelligence. The team had genuine expertise in Egyptian property: neighbourhood knowledge, developer track records, price-to-value analysis. None of this expertise was visible in the brand. The website was a listings portal that looked like every other listings portal.
The paid media budget was being spent filling a leaky bucket. Paid traffic was arriving but not converting, because the brand had not earned enough trust to justify the next step. Organic search was delivering almost nothing because there was no content strategy.
The work we did.
SEO & Content Strategy
We identified the opportunity immediately: no property platform in Egypt was producing genuinely useful, expert content about buying, renting, or investing in Egyptian property. The category was empty of editorial authority. We built a content strategy to fill it.
The content architecture targeted three audience types: first-time buyers, investors, and expats. For each type, we mapped the questions they had that no platform was answering and created content that answered those questions with specificity and expertise.
Brand Repositioning
We repositioned Space from 'property portal' to 'property intelligence.' The difference is not semantic. A portal shows you listings. An intelligence platform helps you make decisions. The new positioning unlocked a different category of content, partnership, and trust.
The Arabic brand voice became more expert and less transactional. Instead of 'search for your dream home,' the new language was 'understand the market before you move.' The shift attracted a different, higher-intent audience.

"We went from a product-first company to a brand-first company in 90 days. Bloom didn't hand us a strategy document — they sat inside our business until they understood it."
Our honest reflection.
In crowded digital categories, the content gap is often the biggest competitive opportunity. Every property platform in Egypt was spending on paid media. None of them were investing in editorial authority. The first brand to own the content layer in a category typically owns it for years.
SEO in Arabic is still significantly underinvested. The competition for organic rankings in Arabic is lower than in English across almost every category we have worked in. Brands that invest in Arabic content now will hold positions that will be very difficult to displace in three years.
